About the role

- Development and optimization of automation concepts for special-purpose machines and systems
- Collaboration in the project planning of machines and systems with regard to component selection and safety aspects
- Programming PLC controls using modern tools and technologies
- Programming robots using modern tools and technologies
- Selecting and qualifying electrical components in cooperation with other departments
- Selecting, evaluating, and testing new automation hardware and software
- Managing development projects in the above-mentioned area of responsibility
About you
- At least 5 years of professional experience in automation in the field of special machine construction, ideally also in worldwide commissioning
- Very good knowledge of Siemens S7 / TIA Portal, ideally with experience in Rockwell (AB) or Beckhoff
- Good knowledge of drive technology, electrical design, and hardware, as well as robot programming and conceptual design
- Organizational skills and ability to improvise
- Professional, open communication
- Open mindset and enjoyment of internationality

We determine the salary / wage together with you. The minimum for this position is 3.983,69€ EUR gross per month, working full time. (Collective Agreement: Metalltechnische Industrie)
